Another day

Another weekend, this time a bank holiday so an extra day off and a four day week coming up for next week…..
Off to visit a birthday girl tomorrow and then nothing planned for the rest of the weekend except to watch the F1 grand prix from the Spa circuit on the box…. Come on Button/Hamilton get a move on….

Holiday time….

Well it will be in a few week’s nothing planned as yet but something might crop up!

Bought a new toy to play with, and not telling anyone what it is…. so you will have to guess….

Anyone see that sick woman on the news who grabbed a cat off a wall and dropped it into a waste bin, poor thing was in there for 15 hours, lucky enough the owners had cctv and have quality recordings of the woman who did it and police now know who she is and feel she needs protection f**king evil bastard needs a good slapping!

Off-line today

The updates to the weather have been a bit iffy today as it seems my internet connection was off for a couple of hours so no updates to the weather were done as was my digipeater.

Cumulus has been updated to the latest beta version today v1.9 b934

hahaha Schumacher got punished with a 10 place grid drop for the next grand prix (SPA Belgium) should have been a ban the tosser!!

“Michael Schumacher could have been disqualified during the Hungarian Grand Prix if there had been more time”, steward Derek Warwick has said. (what a pity!)

Cornwall

Back from a 2 day break in Cornwall, over 30 years since we have been down there, the roads have not changed just wide enough to get the car down, the Smart would have fitted in well!!!

Visited Port Isaac and Newquay on the north coast

Stayed at the Camelot Castle Hotel, all I can say is give it a miss go elsewhere….
Sunday when we got there it was hot, humid and sunny, when we left on Tuesday morning there was thick fog and rain but had a great time… we will be back!!

3. I WILL NOT TRUST THE CLUSTER AND WILL BE SURE OF THE DX STATION’S CALL SIGN BEFORE CALLING.

4. I WILL NOT INTERFERE WITH THE DX STATION NOR ANYONE CALLING HIM AND WILL NEVER TUNE UP ON THE DX FREQUENCY OR IN THE QSX SLOT.

5. I WILL WAIT FOR THE DX STATION TO END A CONTACT BEFORE CALLING HIM.

6. I WILL ALWAYS SEND MY FULL CALL SIGN – MOST IMPORTANT. PLEASE STICK TO THIS ONE!

7. I WILL CALL AND THEN LISTEN FOR A REASONABLE INTERVAL. I WILL NOT CALL CONTINUOUSLY.

8. I WILL NOT TRANSMIT WHEN THE DX OPERATOR CALLS ANOTHER CALLSIGN, NOT MINE.

9. I WILL NOT TRANSMIT WHEN THE DX OPERATOR QUERIES A CALL SIGN NOT LIKE MINE.

10. I WILL NOT TRANSMIT WHEN THE DX STATION CALLS OTHER GEOGRAPHIC AREAS THAN MINE.

11. WHEN THE DX OPERATOR CALLS ME, I WILL NOT REPEAT MY CALL SIGN UNLESS I THINK HE HAS COPIED IT INCORRECTLY.

12. I WILL BE THANKFUL IF AND WHEN I DO MAKE A CONTACT.

13. I WILL RESPECT MY FELLOW HAMS AND CONDUCT MYSELF SO AS TO EARN THEIR RESPECT.

As you may or may not have noticed I have not run my web cams for ages, I have now removed the link for these as I was running out of USB sockets and one of the cameras has been playing up for ages so decided to call it a day with them.

Apart from that I have had a good week off and the weather has been good…
