Clash of the titans
Posted on April 3rd, 2010 No commentsJust back from watching the film “Clash of the Titans”, and BoBo the owl does put in few second’s appearance… but the 3D was naff, the trailers before the film were better…
And why does it cost more to see a 3D film??
The film was ok but nothing to shout about, the original was better and thats a first for me to say that.
Give it a miss….

Me on Google Maps
Posted on March 11th, 2010 No commentsThis was taken last year sometime by google maps in Maidstone Kent, I spotted this strange car coming round the roundabout with what looked like a periscope on its roof then spotted the ‘Google’ signs on it…

APRS (update)
Posted on March 10th, 2010 No commentsThe APRS set-up appears to be working well thanks to Steve M0BPQ and receiving well from all of West London and beyond you can view the map at www.aprs.fi and also see the results from the UI-View server at www.furballzone.com:8081 (this is not always running though)
The web pages come from UI-View but were modified by AA5SG but I had to update them them as the links to the QRZ database was out-of-date and also had to re-do the links for the google maps and all appear to work ok now.

Nice weekend and APRS
Posted on March 7th, 2010 No commentsHad a nice weekend, sorted out cables, wires and a mess, made room for a Radio, TNC and PSU and am now running a digilink RF to iNet to help out the APRS dead spot in west London thanks to Steve M0BPQ for sorting it all out and the loan of the necessary equipment…
The new car a few months back got a nail in the tyre, now the new tyre has got a nail in that so looks like another £150 bill coming up….
